The SCADA HVAC Project aimed at replacing the existing Hardware and Software to supervise and control the variables of temperature, humidity, and differential pressure between rooms in the Production area in Building 03 at BRISTOL-MYERS SQUIBB FARMACÊUTICA S/A. Located in Santo Amaro - São Paulo - SP. The existing systems will also be converted to the new architecture. Including CIP/SIP and Clean Utilities systems.
The new automation system to monitor and control the clean rooms followed cGAMP - current Good Automated Manufacturing Practices in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11. In order to operate the system, a redundant Ethernet communication network was used. Two operating stations were used, based on RS VIEW SE by Rockwell Automation, one of which was equipped with two monitors for simultaneous operation. A redundant CPU, CONTROLLOGIX (also by Rockwell Automation) was places on each floor for controlling their respective remote stations and independent network. The other corporate network stations had access to the room monitoring data through WEB generated (intranet) reports, using PlantSuite by IASTECH.
